Vehicle fails to yield at intersection

A Monett woman was injured in a wreck at 3:40 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the intersection of Highway 37 and Highway W in Butterfield.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 34-year-old female, of Cassville was driving a 2018 Toyota Rav 4 eastbound when her vehicle failed to yield to a northbound 2019 Jeep Cherokee, being driven by a 37-year-old female, of Monett.

The driver of the Jeep suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.

Both individuals were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles were totaled.
