Man dies in wreck south of Aurora
Vehicle goes off Hwy. 39, strikes tree

A Miller resident died in a single-vehicle wreck at about 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 4 on Highway 39, approximately 10 miles south of Aurora.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol wreck report, a 62-year-old male, of Miller, was driving a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:15 p.m. by Barry County Coroner Gary Swearingen.
It is unknown if the man was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.
