Charlie Cross, CEO of CS Bank, has announced the appointment of Mark Shumaker to the bank’s Advisory Board of Directors.

Shumaker, a lifelong resident of Barry County, owned and operated Shumaker Tire in Golden from 1982 until his retirement in 2024. He and his wife, Jennifer, together have four daughters and six grandchildren. 

“We are thrilled to add someone of Mark’s caliber to our Southwest Missouri Advisory Board of Directors,” Cross said. “His extensive business experience and knowledge of the local area will serve our company well for the foreseeable future. We feel blessed to garner his affiliation and welcome him into the CS Bank family.”

CS Bank is a $620 million financial institution with more than 100 employees and seven full-service locations throughout Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri, with additional expansion in Missouri in the works.
