Mary Nell Pettypool, 82, of Cassville, Mo., passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her home.

She was born on July 29, 1943, in Dover, Ark., the daughter of William and Nada (Martin) Glass, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her brother, Wayne Allen.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Pettypool, and several nieces and nephews.

She graduated from high school in Wichita, Kan., later attending college where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was employed as a surgical nurse for several years while living in Saint Joseph, Mo.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
