Many items at the Southwest Missouri Wild Game Feed were given away free, while others were won through silent auction, live auction, and the drawing of specific playing cards. Ezra Burns, who will enter kindergarten this fall but didn’t know in which town, tried the corn hole toss to win a free fishing pole. Held for the first time at the Monett Area YMCA, the event drew a record crowd in a fundraising effort for programs promoting outdoor activities. A crew of 40 volunteers ran the event.
