Nathan “Big Nate” McFarland, has passed away.

He was born in Bentonville, Ark., and spent his elementary years in Guymon, Okla., before settling in Cassville.

He graduated from Cassville High School in 1995, where he played football as a Wildcat.

He earned a scholarship to Missouri Valley College, he was a skilled craftsman, a gifted artist, and a man unafraid of hard work or hard times.

Survivors include loving mother, Victoria Jean McFarland; his daughters, Aaliyah Briscoe and her husband Dalton, Madison Weathermon, Kayla Weathermon, and Isabella Weathermon; and three grandchildren, and one brother Benjamin Tinnin.

Preceding him in death was his brother, Trenton Ray, his father, and many other dear family members.

A funeral service was held Saturday, May 3, 2025, at White Funeral Home and Crematory with John Hile officiating.

Memorials may be made to his granddaughter Delilah Briscoe and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Mo.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
