1. Why do you want to win this position?

I’ve been a board member for 12 years. I would like to continue working to make Wheaton school the best it can be, to follow through with projects in progress, and to work to maintain quality of education for our students, quality teachers, administration and staff.

2. If elected, what is your number one goal on the school board?

I will work to be a voice for proper, back to basics education for our students to succeed, and the financial stability to maintain that.

3. What areas of the school district do you think need improvement?

I think we are strong throughout the district, and you always want to continue to improve.

4. What capital projects do you believe the district should pursue?

There have been several capital projects of recent years that ere much needed and being fully utilized by our students and community. There is aging equipment that will need to be replaced and upgraded: HVAC, roofing, watershed, playground, etc.

5. What do you feel is most important for raising the quality of education provided by Wheaton schools?

Wheaton schools have produced good quality students that have gone on to be productive citizens, students and workers. To continue to provide the best for our students requires proper and quality curriculum, resources and good long-term teachers.
