Construction crews working on the 7th Street Bridge project install culvert walls for the incoming bridge. Hartman and Company was awarded the bid at $738,000, and the new 15-foot triple-span reinforced concrete box bridge over Flat Creek will replace the low-water crossing damaged beyond repair by flash flooding in 2017. The project is set to be completed by May, complete with a vehicular crossing and sidewalk pedestrian crossing, and it may open sooner to allow for travel prior to being paved.
