The Discovery Quilters of Shell Knob will host a Quilt Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 20 at Shell Knob Elementary School, located on Highway 39, north of Shell Knob. A silent auction will be ongoing all day, and there will be demonstrations in the morning, a presentation by Rochelle Rice of Inappropriate Quilters at noon and a quilt turning at 1 p.m. On Sept. 21, the Quilt Show will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a presentation by Rochelle Rice of Inappropriate Quilters at noon, a quilt turning at 1 p.m., a miniature quilt auction at 2 p.m. and drawings for an opportunity quilt (pictured), rocking chair and sewing machine at 3 p.m. There will also be door prizes both days, and admission is $5 for both days.
