Joan Beck, 81, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville, Mo.

She was born in Ukiah, Calif., the daughter of Manual and Viola (Woodral) Davis, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Jerry Lee Beck; her brothers, David and Gary; sisters, Millie Janaway and Shirley Goodwin; sons-inlaw, Bill Cape and Jamie Tucker and grandson, Austin.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Manuel Beck of Cassville, Mo.; daughters Lisea Cape of Cassville, Mo., Christina Tucker of Cassville, Mo. and Joann Dunfee and her husband Tony of Cassville, Mo.; brother, Jerry Don Davis of Wister, Okla.; sister, Linda Davis of Heavenor, Okla.; former daughterin- law, Lynette LeAnn Beck; 14 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.

She grew up and attended school in Ukiah, Calif., graduating from Ukiah High School. She was employed by Dollar General in Monett, Mo. as a manager for several years. She also worked at Whitley’s Pharmacy, a head start program and was a Boy Scout leader. Joan was of the Baptist faith.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Horner Cemetery in Cassville, Mo. under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears conducted the services.
