DNR to host land application info meeting

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Water Protection Program will hold a public informational meeting on April 11 from 10 a.m. to noon regarding permitting of the land application of industrial wastewater and wastewater treatment residuals.

The meeting will include a question/answer session regarding the information presented.

This informational meeting will be held at the Lewis and Clark State Office Building, Gasconade Camp conference room, 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City. A Webex option is also being offered. The DNR emphasizes that this meeting is for informational purposes, only, and is not a public hearing on the land application permits currently on public notice.

Due to limited seating in the conference room, virtual participation via Webex is encouraged. Meeting information can be found at the following webpage: https://tinyurl.com/yz7x3t66.

This webpage also provides information on land application permitting processes, including two recently developed draft documents, the Industrial Nutrient Management Technical Standard and the Land Application Management Plan.

Questions about the meeting can be directed to the DNR by email at landappenf@dnr. mo.gov.

People with disabilities requiring special services or accommodations to attend the meeting may make arrangements by calling 573-751-5723 or 800-361-4827.
