Almon Monroe Williams, Jr., 80, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Cox South, Hospital in Springfield. He was the son of Monroe and Maxine Holman Williams, of Cassville.

He attended the University of Missouri and earned a degree from the School of Agriculture. He was an employee of the Farmers Insurance Group. He was a member of the Brentwood Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Juffer.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Margaret Williams of Springfield; daughters, Marla Beth and Karen Lee of Springfield; son, W. Frank Williams, of Springfield; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 9 at Brentwood Christian Church. Graveside services were held May 10 at Hazelwood Cemetery under direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Springfield.
