Mary Jo Chandler was born on January 15, 1932, to John and Jennie Schildknecht in Chicago, IL. The family moved to Cassville when Mary Jo was 9 years old. She called Cassville her hometown. She married Kenneth W. Chandler on April 15, 1950.
