A Cassville man was injured in a wreck on Thursday at 1:20 p.m. on Highway 248, five miles west of Jenkins.
Shelter sponsors local scholarships
This spring, the Shelter Insurance Foundation will award two $1,500 scholarships, one each to a graduate of Cassville and Wheaton high schools. Cassville Shelter Agent Terri Lynn DeGraffenreid Brattin sponsors and partially funds this scholarship.

Sales taxes generally level in January
Sales tax revenues to bi-county cities and county governments held more or less steady in January, compared to a year ago, and the city of Cassville continued its strong gains. The seven Barry County cities received $780,056.60, down 2 percent from last January, mostly from Monett.
