Haven of the Ozarks’ pet of the week, Jan. 10
Meet Girly! She has been up for adoption in the Haven of the Ozarks shelter for over 570 days. She is accustomed to leash walks, loves all the attention you can give her, and seems to get along great with other dogs. She is still very active and could use some training to not jump. Due to this, we suggest a home with only older children. Girly has so much love to give and craves a family of her own. She would thrive having an active lifestyle which may include walking, swimming, hiking, playing ball, etc. She might act ferocious behind the chain link fences of the Haven, but Girly really is just a big wigglebutt with the biggest smile. Her estimated date of birth is July 12, 2018, and she is about 49 pounds. All Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week.

Finch is a German Shepherd-Rottweiler mix who was adopted out from the Haven as a puppy. She is house trained and has done well with kids of all ages. She is very smart, has a lot of energy, loves to play with a ball and would do well with an active family who will keep her mind and her body engaged! Her date of birth is March 16, 2020. Finch is used to baths and getting brushed, loves car rides and is great with people. She does fine on a leash but will need a good high fence to keep her from escaping the yard.
