Rosetta Louise Rose, “Rosie”, 61, of Cassville, Mo. passed away peacefully at home. 

She was born August 28, 1964, in Plainwell, Mich., to Junior Barnes and Jackie Irene Elkins, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Layne Rose; her son, Dakota Rose, and his wife, Kiah-Grace; three grandsons; eight brothers and sisters and their families;

She graduated from Cassville High School in 1982 and later earned her bachelor’s degree from Fort Hays State University in 2010. 

She was a case manager for individuals with developmental disabilities. 

She was a member of Full Life Fellowship in Purdy, Mo. 

Graveside service were held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 11:00 am at Fields Cemetery in Shell Knob, Mo., with Pastor Wilson Gauntt officiating. 

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
