Jeannie Anderson, 90, of Branson, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Forsyth Nursing and Rehabilitation in Forsyth.

She was born in St. Louis, Mo. on August 12, 1935, the daughter of Otto and Ruth (Denno) Whitsett, who preceded her in death. 

Also preceded her in death was her husband, Lawrence Wayne Anderson; a child, James Randall Hamilton; brother, James Whitsett; and sister, Judith Means.

Survivors include her children along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She had lived in Branson for the past 12 years, coming from Colo., and previously Calif. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother to 4 natural and 34 adopted children over the course of her amazing life. 

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
