Barrett Adam “Barry” McGarigle, age 62, of Purdy, Mo. passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at his home.

He was born on December 16, 1963 in Wichita, Kan., to Mr. and Mrs. Harry McGarigle, who preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife, Royce Pauline McGarigle; his son, Brentt McGarigle of Okla.; and other family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

He grew up in Wichita, where he attended school graduating from Wichita Heights High School. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, spending two years stationed in San Diego, Calif.

After completing his military service, He returned to Wichita and began working in the shipping department for Hiland Dairy. He later moved to Cassville, Mo., to assist his mother. He later worked as a shipping supervisor for George’s, retiring in 2012.

Memorial services to honor Barry will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
