Viola May “Vi” Leverich

Viola May “Vi” Leverich, 87, of Wheaton, Mo. passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Lacoba Homes in Monett, Mo.
She was born March 22, 1939 in Humbolt, Neb., the daughter of Virgil and Lucille (Smith) Reeves, who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Thomas “Tom” Leverich; grandson, Chris; brother, John and sister, Janet.
Survivors include her sons, Denis Leverich and wife Adele of Shelton, Wash., Chuck Leverich and wife Pickles of East Newton, Mo., Kelly Leverich and wife Diane of Buhl, Idaho, and Tom Leverich and wife Stephani of Purdy, Mo.; daughter, Tammy Doss and husband Bruce of Monett, Mo.; brothers, Mack Reeves of Kimberly, Idaho, Virgil Reeves and wife Dena of Yelm, Wash., and Bill Reeves and wife LuAnn of Manchester, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She attended school in Castleford, Idaho. She worked for 12 years as a meat wrapper at the IGA in Rogers, Ark., before moving to Pioneer, Mo. Together with her husband, Tom, they owned and operated a dairy farm before purchasing G & S Easy Stop in Cassville. Later, they owned and operated a poultry breeder and grower operation until their retirement.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Rambo Cemetery in Rogers, Arkansas, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Haven of the Ozarks in memory of Vi.
