Letter to the Editor — Joanna Morgan: No proof of any wrongdoing

Dear Editor:

A few months ago there as an incident in Washburn, Mo. There as a wreck. A car hit a motorcycle. A couple had seen it and drove into the nearest driveway to turn around to see if they could help until help could get there.

As they did, the owner came out with a gun and the couple turned around and went back to the accident to see if they could help. The owner then chased them down and pointed a gun at them and threatened to kill them.

When the city marshal came, he realized a conflict of interest was involved and stepped back and called Barry County to come out because of that.

It’s being said he is now accused of being corrupt. There is no proof of that. Rumors are being said that are not true, and he is innocent with no proof of any wrongdoing.

If he’s corrupt, where’s the proof?
