Brother Joseph Robert “Joe” Wogoman, 74, of Purdy, Mo. passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at his home.

He was born January 12, 1951, in Wheaton, Mo., the son of Robert and Marjorie (Wells) Wogoman, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his brother, John Wogoman.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Stewart; his sons, Matt Wogoman and wife Tonya of Purdy, Mo. and Dusty Wogoman and wife Summer of Purdy, Mo.; brother, Jack Wogoman and wife Norma of Purdy, Mo.; four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

He grew up and attended school in Wheaton, Mo. He owned and operated Joe Wogoman’s Dry Wall for twenty years. He was the respected founding senior pastor of the New Freedom Worship Center in Purdy, where he was still leading his congregation with wisdom and grace.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2025, at New Freedom Worship Center in Purdy. Brother James Eakins, Brother Ben Morgan, and Brother Bill Coble will conduct the service.

Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
