Thank you, Kyle Troutman and the Cassville Democrat newspaper, for covering the first time in Cassville, the Quilts of Valor of the Ozarks (QOVO) presentation at the Cassville Senior Center during the Independence Day Celebration.
Thank you to Jon Horner, Cassville mayor, for introducing and welcoming the delegation from QOVO, based in Kimberling City.
Thank you to Gene Robbins and his band, and also to our county commissioners, county officials from the courthouse and to Sheriff Danny Boyd for their continuous support to our veterans, QOVO, and to the Cassville Senior Center.
Thank you to Christy Henley, active duty Air Force, for addressing the audience, telling her story and sharing her patriotic thoughts celebrating our veterans’ contributions to our country.
Thank you to all other veterans that shared their stories as well.
Thank you to the ladies from QOVO for this presentation of beautiful handmade quilts and for traveling all the way to Cassville to do this significant ceremony for our veterans.
Upcoming presentations have been confirmed for November and February 2026 for QOVO to honor other veterans who have signed up to receive a quilt. More specific information will be announced later.
