DNR seeking comments on new rules

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has filed proposed amendments to the rules listed below.

10 CSR 20-2.010 – Definitions,

10 CSR 20-6.020 – Public Participation, Hearings, and Notice to Governmental Agencies

10 CSR 20-6.060 – Water Quality Certifications

10 CSR 20-6.200 Storm Water Regulations

10 CSR 20-6.015 – No-Discharge Operations and Land Application Requirements

The public comment period began Aug. 15 and ends Sept. 23, with a public hearing scheduled for Sept. 16, 2025, at 1 p.m.

Comments on the proposed amendments may be made by using the department’s regulatory action tracking system at https://apps5. mo.gov/proposed-rules/ welcome.action#OPEN.

Choose ‘Water Protection Program’ under “Rules in Development.”

Comments will also be accepted during the public hearing which will take place at the DNR’s Lewis and Clark State Office Building, located at the LaCharrette/Nightingale Creek Conference Rooms, 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City, with a virtual attendance option offered.
