Thelma Ann Loveless, 84, of Wynne, Ark., passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

She was born on June 26, 1941, in Elgin, Ill., the daughter of Russell and Violet (Aurand) Markham, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Elbert Loveless; brothers, Alvin, Wesley, Russell, and Leonard; sisters, Marjorie, Marion, Mary, Virginia, and Linda; son, Joseph Loveless; stepson, Marshall Loveless; stepdaughter, Jane Smiley; granddaughter, Amber Smiley and great grandson, Ethan Green.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Goldman of Ill., Jeff March of Columbia, S. C., Matthew Loveless (Angela) of Cherry Valley, Ark., Justin Loveless (Laurie) of Springfield, Mo., and Edwin Fuwell (Kellie) of Bloomberg, Mo., and sonin- law Nick (Jane) Smiley; daughters, Beverly VanDusen of Rockford, Ill., Pam Gibson (Jeff) of Tenn., Annette Robertson (Troy) of Lexington, Tenn., Joann Cox (Frank) of McRae, Ark., Diane Baldridge (Mike) of Rosebud, Ark., Tammy Loveless of Bernie, Mo., Jeannette Moss (Mike) of Wynne, Ark., Melanie Green (Kenny) of Aurora, Mo., Amanda Loveless (Kenny) of Cabool, Mo., and daughters-in-law, Lisa (Joey) Loveless & Rita (Marshall) Loveless; sisters, Yvonne Mainard of Ill., and Sandra Adams of Lake Wappapello, Mo.; 44 grandchildren; 91 great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She grew up in Elgin and attended South Elgin High School.

She worked first at home, then at a clothing factory, and later at Kelley’s Restaurant. After she retired in 2000, she spent her time volunteering at the Hickory Ridge Clothing Closet and Food Pantry.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Wynne, Ark. Pastor Carl Weatherford will lead the service.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo.

Thelma will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
