Misty Dawn Hicks Hipkins, 46, of Stella, Mo., passed away on June 26, 2026, at her home in Stella. She was born on June 23, 1980, in Monett, Mo., to Lonnie and Eileen Hicks, who preceded her in death. 

Also preceding her in death was two brothers, Keith Burwell and Jason Burwell; and one sister, Brittany Burwell.

Survivors include her husband Robert “Ross” Hipkins; three daughters, Hailey Hipkins of the home, Savanna Hipkins of Purdy, Mo., and Kyla Hicks and Julie England of Joplin, Mo; siblings, Eddie Burwell of Exeter, Mo.; Sheila and Keith Young, affectionately known as “Nana and Pa,” of Ridgley, Mo.; Dean and Misty Burwell of Joplin, Mo.; Wendy and Terry Testerman of Cassville, Mo.; Debbie Hicks of Cassville, Mo.; and Wendy Smith and James Tacker of Lebanon, Mo, and four adopted grandbabies.

Her adventurous spirit and appreciation for life’s simple treasures brought joy to those around her.
