Aurora man injured in motorcycle crash

Bike goes off roadway north of Eagle Rock

An Aurora man was injured in a wreck at 10:45 a.m. on Friday on Highway 86, five miles north of Eagle Rock.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 49-year-old Aurora man was driving a 1996 Yamaha motorcycle southbound hen his vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver.

The man suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. 

He was wearing a safety device, and the motorcycle was totaled.
