The Southwest High School trap team held a ring ceremony during halftime of the Homecoming game on Friday. The ceremony honored the team's AIM Grand National Championship victory in Sparta, Ill., in July 2025, where the team won first place by one target with a score of 956/1000. The winning Junior squad was made up of Colten Phillips, Case Jennings, Levi Carden, Dakota Cotton and Jesse Jones. The team is coached by Staci Day. Contributed photo
