Jackie Elmer Veith

Jackie Elmer Veith (Jack), passed away on December 26, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on March 10, 1938, in Monett, Mo. to Elmer and Flossie (Russell) Veith, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his brother, Larry Veith, and his wife Gloria (Holder) Veith of Purdy, Mo.; his sister, Helen (Veith) Lowe, and her husband Bill Lowe of Joplin, Mo.; and his brother-in-law, Bill Kimball of York, Pa.

Survivors include his sister, Jean (Veith) Kimball of York, Pa.; his brother, Bob Veith and his wife Kathy of Hudson, Colo.; four nephews; three nieces, and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Purdy High School and spent much of his early years working for local farmers and at the milk plant in Monett, where he gained experience hauling milk. His dedication to agriculture led him to take on the role of Ranch Foreman in Okla., where he worked at least at two different ranches before eventually moving to Texas. In Texas, he contributed his efforts to the Ground Water Tech.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at New Site Cemetery in Monett, Mo., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services.
