Charles W. Williams, Jr.

Charles W. Williams, Jr., 92, of Rogers, Ark., passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at Innisfree Health & Rehabilitation in Rogers, Ark.

He was born on May 8, 1933, in Beech Island, S.C., to Charles W. Williams, Sr., and Pearlie Lee (Weeks) Williams, who preceded him in death. 

Also preceding him in death was his wife, 

Mary Louise Ballard; two brothers, Ernest Williams and James Williams, and one sister, Mary Curl.

Survivors include eight sons, Randall Williams and his wife Donna of Sacramento, Calif., Mike Williams and wife Jo of Paradise, Calif., Ricky Williams and wife Olga of Sacramento, Calif., Steven Lazaroe and his husband David of Rogers, Ark., William Lazaroe and wife Cindy of Tampa, Fla., Tony Lazaroe and wife Candy of Muskogee, Okla., Charles Casey of Berryville, Ark. and Edward Casey of Fayetteville, Ark.; three daughters, Dewella Williams of Calif., Leetta Bailey and husband Jay of Fla. and Pam Cannon of Covington, La.; twenty grandchildren; thirty-six grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

He joined the Navy in 1951 and served as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic during the Korean War. He attended Lee Bible College in Cleveland, Tenn. He established Charlie’s Cabin and Canoe Rentals with his beloved wife, Mary Lou. He was also a skilled barber. He was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church in Seligman.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 9, 2026 at New Salem Baptist Church in Seligman, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Perry Morgan will conduct the services. Burial will be at Seligman Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri.
