Cassville city officials recently broke ground on the 7th Street bridge project, which is now underway. Officials hope the bridge, which was washed out in flooding nearly a decade ago, will be open for travel soon, offering another vehicular entrance and exit to the Cassville City Park. The $738,000 project was awarded to Hartman & Co., which will build a 15-foot triple-span reinforced concrete box bridge over Flat Creek. The current construction window is now through the spring, with the goal of being fully operational by May 2026. Contributed photo
