3 place at Beta Nationals

This summer, 13 members of the Cassville Intermediate Beta Club represented the school at the National Beta Convention June 27-29 in Orlando.
These students earned their spots by excelling at the Missouri State BETA Convention earlier in the year. At Nationals, students competed in a variety of events that highlighted their talents in academics, leadership, creativity and problem-solving. They had the opportunity to connect with peers from across the country and experience the excitement of competing on a national stage.
After months of preparation and dedication, three students were awarded honors in the following competitions:
• Bristol Davis, 4th place, Cake Decorating
• Addileah Aldridge, 8th place, Jewelry
• Charley Nichols, 7th place, Scrapbook The National Convention drew thousands of Beta members from across the country. This year’s event welcomed over 3,000 Elementary (grades 4–5), 5,100 Junior (grades 6–8), and 6,900 Senior (grades 9–12) students — making it the largest National Convention gathering in National Beta history.
“Competing at Nationals was an unforgettable experience for our students,” said Michelle Harvey, Beta sponsor. “We’re proud of the hard work, creativity, and leadership they demonstrated on a national stage. We also want to thank all of the parents and sponsors for your dedication and support for Beta. This would not have been possible without it.’
In addition to competitions, students built lasting friendships, strengthened their leadership skills, and returned home inspired to bring fresh ideas and energy to the Cassville Intermediate Beta Club.
‘The trip was not only a celebration of their hard work but also a valuable learning experience that will encourage these students to continue striving for excellence in academics and service,’ a district press release said.
