Kalee Lowe, a 2025 Cassville High School graduate, admires a teddy bear and ceramic angel while removing the Charlie Kirk memorial from the courthouse lawn on Saturday. What began as just a photo, three candles and two flags set up on Sept. 14 grew into dozens of flags, messages and decor honoring the life and memory of Kirk, who was shot to death in Utah while at a Turning Point USA event. "In an effort to honor Charlie Kirk, I organized a memorial and made it publicly accessible for everyone to view," Lowe said. "I encouraged others to add to it, and I was astonished by the overwhelming response from our community. Seeing the collective effort has brought me immense happiness and it will be something that I will always remember! Thank you, to everyone who participated in honoring Charlie. Well done, Cassville."
