Carl Gene Moore, 76, of Verona, Mo. passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Solace House of the Ozarks in Joplin, Mo.

He was born April 28, 1949, in Wheaton, Mo., the son of Roy and Louise (Wormington) Moore.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Sammy Moore.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Edwards; sons, Carl Moore and wife Angela of Purdy, Mo. and Chris Moore of Purdy, Mo.; daughters, Tina Warren and husband Chris of Purdy, Mo. and Ramona Moore of Purdy, Mo., and six grandchildren.

He attended school in Purdy, Mo. and graduated from Purdy High School. He drove a bus for the Cassville school system for 30 years, from where he retired. He also raised beef cattle and operated a dairy. 

Services were held Monday, September 15, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jerry Nickle conducted the services. Burial was at Purdy Cemetery in Purdy, Mo.
