A Purdy man was injured in a wreck on Aug. 19 on Farm Road 1100, three miles east of Purdy.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 35-yearold male, of Purdy, was driving a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja southbound when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence. The actual time of the crash is unknown.

The male sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Cox Monett Hospital.

He was not wearing a safety device, and the motorcycle was totaled.
