Misha Ann Hull

ull Misha Ann Hull, age 84, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at her home.
She was born on February 17, 1941, in Lamar, Missouri, the daughter of Harry and Mildred (Arft) Stout.
On September 9, 1978, in Cassville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, J.A. Hull, who proceeded her in death on March 9, 1999. Through mutual friends Misha was blessed to meet her buddy, Charles “Chuck” Blakely whom she married on February 8, 2001, in North Fort Myers, Florida. Chuck preceded her in death on November 28, 2008. Also preceding her in death were her parents, her true friend, Mary Ann Truhitte and great-niece, Landree Stout.
Surviving are her daughter, Symbra Boone (House) and husband Garth of Cassville, Missouri; brother, Michael Stout and wife Bonnie of Republic, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jordan Boone and wife Samantha of Cassville, Missouri and Aaron Boone of Springfield, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Jamison Boone, Eleanor Boone, Hayden Pierce and Sawyer Conklin; niece, Amy Summers and husband Mark of Republic, Missouri; nephew, Kory Stout and wife Hillary of Sunset Hills, Missouri; three great nieces, Karleigh Summers, Claire Summers, and Elin Stout as well as two great-nephews, Harrison Stout and Karsen Stout.
Misha attended school in Lockwood, Missouri, where she graduated High School in 1959. After graduating she moved to Cassville, Missouri. She began her 40-year career at the Barry County
Collectors Office in 1963 as deputy. Later, in 1981 she was appointed as the Barry County Collector by Governor Kit Bond following the death of Collector Warren Drake. She served as County Collector for 22 years until she retired on February 28, 2003.
Misha was a staunch Republican. Throughout her career she held several leadership positions including president and treasurer of the Missouri County Collectors Association. She was a member of the Missouri County Collectors Association Legislative Committee and served on the board of directors for the Missouri Association of County Officials. In her community she was very active serving in the Cassville Chamber of Commerce, Soroptimist of Barry County, Business Professional Women’s Foundation, Barry County Republican Party, and Celestia #81Order of the Eastern Star, she also sang in the choir at church.
Aside from her professional career and community involvement she was known for living her life to the fullest. She LOVED to travel, hosting holiday parties, time by the water, (whether that be on the lake or by her pool). She enjoyed playing her piano, bowling, card games, dominos, and finding bargains while shopping. Later in life she took up golf and loved watching her Kansas City Chiefs football games. Most importantly she was known for her huge heart, selfless love to strangers, and the indescribable amount of love she had for her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 29, 2025, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jeff Fugitt will conduct the services.
