Kenneth Lee Ruark

Kenneth Lee Ruark, 90, of Washburn, Mo. passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Cassville Health Care and Rehab in Cassville, Mo.

He was born September 25, 1934, in Washburn, Mo., the son of Orba and Freda Bell (Poe) Ruark, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was an infant son, David Wayne; daughter, Linda Sue Collin; grandson, Eric Ruark and brothers, Jack Ruark, Gerald Don Ruark and Robert Ruark.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Anne Miles; two sons, Steven Ray Ruark of Claremore, Okla., and Jerry Lee Ruark and his wife Tarrie of Washburn, Mo.; two daughters, Mary Jane Siefken and her husband Robert of Ozark, Mo. and Ruth Coonce and her husband Pat of Garfield, Ark.; son-in-law, Bill Collin of Exeter, Mo.; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He grew up and attended school in Washburn, Mo., graduating from Washburn High School in 1953. He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. He worked in construction, preparing oil drilling pads in Okla., building swimming pools and painting water towers. He was a member of Church of Christ in Exeter.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Mark Hardwick will conduct the services. Burial will be at Hickman Cemetery in Washburn, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
