Three women were injured in a single-vehicle wreck at 2 p.m. on Friday on Highway 86, one mile east of Eagle Rock.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dawna Headgepath, 67, of Eagle Rock, was driving a 2016 Buick Envision eastbound when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign and a guy wire for a pole.
Headgepath suffered serious injuries and was flown to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Two passengers also sustained injuries. Lorrie Campbell, 52, of Eagle Rock, suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cox South. Viola Boggs, 79, of Eagle Rock, suffered minor injuries and was also transported to Cox South via ambulance.
Headgepath and Campbell were wearing safety devices, and Boggs was not. The vehicle was totaled.
