James William “Jim” Richardson

James William “Jim” Richardson, 78, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at his home.

He was born June 12, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo. the son of William Joseph and Joan (Eisenhower) Richardson, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one sister, Janice Rogers.

Survivors include one brother, Michael J. Richardson and his wife Doris of Richmond, Texas.

He attended school in Overland Park, Kan. graduating from Shawnee Mission North High School later attending college where he attained a bachelor’s degree in business.

He served in the United States Marines from June 10, 1963, until June 9, 1969. Upon returning home he was employed by the United Auto Workers Union in the union pension department for several years. In 1998 Jim moved from Maryland to Eagle Rock, Mo. to help care for his mother.

A private interment service with military honors will be held at Mo. Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Mo. at a later date.
