Chad Yarnall: Cassville School Board Questionnaire

1. Why do you want to win this position?

I would like to be elected so that I could give back to a community that has given my family so much and what better way than through their children and the education provided.

2. If elected, what is your No. 1 goal on the school board?

My #1 goal if elected is to work well with the rest of the board in making decision that make or school district not only a great place to attend school but also a great employer.

3. What areas of the school district do you think need improvement?

If there is any area to keep in check it is to make sure that our tax payer’s conservative opinions are represented when making crucial decision and all lines of communication are open.

4. What do you feel is most important for raising the quality of education provided by Cassville schools?

What I believe leads to a quality education is continuing with a positive work environment amongst all building levels which I believe makes it easy for all of our teacher to go the extra mile to see that a child exceeds in their education.

5. Taking into account a new performing arts center pending this election, what other capital projects do you think the school should pursue?

Besides the Performing arts facility coming the school district must always state up to date with Security and Technology as students that feel safe are always more product and in this ever-changing world technology is important weather working after a college education or in trade.

6. Is the district’s communication with parents satisfactory or does it need work? What makes it work, or how would you improve it?

I believe the communication with parent is good as you can print all the material you want and post all you want but it requires the third party ready it.

7. What classes or programs would you like to
see added?

I believe that classes being added are up to the tax payers and what we as board member need to be is open to recommendations and be open minded to them and prepared to ask questions in the best interest of our students.

8. How do you hope to help students succeed after graduation?

I hope to help students succeed after graduation by being a part of a school board that is making available all the opportunities in education to allow them to be happy in the career, they chose weather it requires a college education or happens to be a local trade.
