Wildcats alumni celebrated at home opener against Seneca
The Cassville High School Football program recognized football alumni from the classes of 2000-2004 prior to the varsity game on Aug. 29. “Alumni Night is just a small way for us to show how much we appreciate the tradition that comes before us,” said Clay Weldy, Cassville High School head football coach. “The community of Cassville has embraced football, and Wildcat Nation has become an amazing 12th man for us over the years. Southwest spikers 3rd at Verona Volleyball Invitational
The Southwest volleyball team finished third in the 10-team Verona Tournament Saturday. The Lady Trojans defeated Golden City, Gloria Deo Academy and tied Thomas Jefferson before losing to Lockwood and Galena, who played for the championship.
