Neng Yia, son of Vam Thoj Yaj and Txiab Xyooj was born in the province of Houaphanh, Laos in 1945. He is their fourth child out of ten children. He lived a simple life with his family until 1964 when he became a soldier in the Secret Wars of Laos. He served until 1975 achieving the rank of Lieutenant.

Jeff Reed, age 60, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on August 11, 2024. The son of Gary “Cotton” and Connie Hilburn Reed, Jeff was born on April 12, 1964, in Monett.

Franklin Delano “Frank” Edwards, 88, parted ways with this world on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in his home after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. He was born May 28, 1936, near Cape Fair, Mo.

Lola Aunzell Smith, age 92, of Cassville, Missouri passed away August 7, 2024, at the home of her caregiver. Lola was born in Morrow, Arkansas on March 30, 1932, the daughter of Eugene Clay and Martha Lee (Brock) Cuzick.

Challie Ann Allison, 61, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, in her home.

Bobby Joe Durossette, Jr., 53 of Seligman, Mo. passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024.

Michael Anthony Brattin, 48, of Mt. Vernon, Mo. passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024, at his home.

Teresa “Suzanne” Cardin, 59, of Exeter, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, at her home. She was born August 3, 1964, in Guthrie, Oklah., the daughter of John and Leota (Anderson) Morrisett.
