To most, a 3-7 campaign in 2024 does not seem like much to be thankful for, but for Ben Mauk, Monett football coach, last season was one of establishment and growth.

Becketts to celebrate 50 years Aug. 23
Dave and Donna Beckett will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 2-4 p.m. at the Monett Historical Society and Museum, located at 422 E. Broadway in Monett.

City mulls Main Street money
The Monett City Council focused primarily on the Main Street program during its regular June meeting.

New home, new hope
The Monett area Fuller House Center invited the community to join them at the beginning of June to help break ground on House No. 15, giving new hope and a new home to one local family.
