50 years ago June 28, 1972 After a wide search effort to locate Christine Seal, who went missing on June 19, has been unsuccessful, according to law enforcement, who say there is no hard evidence for them to work with. A reward has been started in an effort to assist in finding her.
Pet of the Week
Meet Danery, the Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week. Danery is active, friendly, good with kids, walks on a leash, has done well in a crate at offsite events, and gets along well with other dogs. She has had a couple bad experiences with people, but she doesn’t hold that against anyone. Her estimated date of birth is Aug. 21, 2021, and she weighs 37lbs. Driskill gets $10K scholarship
A homeschooled Cassville student has recently been awarded a scholarship from the Horatio Alger Association. Hannah Driskill, daughter of Mike and Amy Driskill is seeking out a four-year degree after she graduates in 2023.

50 years ago June 21, 1972 A search for a missing housewife, Mrs. Christine Seal, 22 of Verona, formerly of Cassville, was called off Monday night, but would be resumed on Tuesday, according to Lawrence County officers.
Pets of the Week
Meet Cove, the Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week. Cove is a friendly, adorable, and happy five month old puppy. Her mother was a Great Pyrenees. Dad is thought to be an Anatolian Shepherd cross. She is also thought to have some kind of a large terrier, like an Airedale, in her mix. Whatever the breed, she likes other pets and people of all ages. LeCompte to compete at Nationals
Jillian LeCompte will travel to Louisville, Kentucky in June to compete in the 2022 National Speech and Debate Tournament along with 6,000 other students representing 1,500 school districts across the country.
Dispensary makes donation to Haven of the Ozarks
Cassville Dispensary, a Missouri medical marijuana facility, recently donated over $500 of CBD pet treats to Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary, a local no-kill shelter. The dispensary partnered with the shelter to help aid aging and injured dogs in need of CBD by using all of the profits on pet products sold to purchase CBD to donate.
