Barbara Jean “Honey” Davis

Barbara Jean “Honey” Davis, 84, of Shell Knob, Mo. passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Springfield, Mo.
She was born January 11, 1942, in Licking, Mo., the daughter of Elmer and Dorine (Beasley) Poore, who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was her son, Rodney Wayne Davis; brother, Elmer, Jr. and sisters, JoAnn, Velma, Charlene, Linda, and Cynthia.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Davis; her daughters, Sherrie Bowyer and husband Travis of Cassville, Mo. and Teresa Hormel of Shell Knob, Mo.; sister, Lilly Berry-Arnold of Kansas City, Kan.; six grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She attended Rosedale High School in Kansas City, Kan. She and her husband, Eddie, worked together installing carpet for more than 20 years. In 1970, they made their home in Shell Knob after moving from Kansas City, Kan.
She was a member of Fairview Pentecostal Church.
Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Lohmer Full Gospel Church in Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Karty Burbridge conducted the services. Burial was at Fields Cemetery in Shell Knob, Mo.
