Heather Kay Carter, 48, of Harrison, Ark. passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 at her home.

She was born on October 8, 1977 in Monett, Mo., the daughter of Gilbert and Betty (Hyde) Stubblefield. 

Survivors include her husband, Christopher Carter; her mother, Betty Stubblefield of Cassville, Mo.; daughter, Lilly Carter of Harrison, Ark. and brother, Matthew Stubblefield of Cassville, Mo.

Preceding her in death were her father, Gilbert Stubblefield and brothers, Michael Stubblefield and Alan Stubblefield.

She grew up and attended school in Cassville, Mo., graduating from Cassville High School with the Class of 1997. She had made her home in Harrison for the past 23 years, where she devoted herself to her family as a homemaker. 

Memorial services were held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 20, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Lee Beck conducted the services.
