New Senior VP–Head of Operations brings 25-plus years experience

At Security Bank of Southwest Missouri, customers depend on clear systems, trusted leadership and a team that shows up ready to serve, said Jon Horner, bank CEO. 

To strengthen that commitment, the bank has announced the promotion of Missy Craig to Senior Vice President–Head of Operations.

Horner said in her new role, Craig will guide the bank’s operations department, overseeing staffing and customer experience across all three Security Bank locations. 

“Craig brings more than 25 years of leadership experience from Walmart and Sam’s Club, where she served as Vice President and Regional General Manager,” he said. “She also understands firsthand what it means to run a successful local business as a co-owner of Roaring River Resort & RV Park with her husband, Donald.”

Beyond her professional background, Craig is deeply invested in the Cassville community. She actively serves with the Cassville Chamber of Commerce, Cassville Industrial Development Corporation, Cassville High School JAG Program and the Cassville Rotary Club.

“We are thrilled to have Missy as a valued part of our leadership team,” Horner said. “Her experience, leadership and heart for service provide the direction and vision our staff needs and the confidence our customers expect.”

Craig is a graduate of John Brown University and holds a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas.
