Vehicle loses control on Farm Road 2192

An Exeter man was injured on Saturday in a wreck at 2:30 p.m. on Farm Road 2192, one mile south of Cassville.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 24-year-old male, of Exeter, was driving a 2013 Kia Optima eastbound when his vehicle lost control and went into the wrong lane of traffic, striking a westbound 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, being driven by a 51-year-old male, of Cassville.

The Exeter man suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. The Cassville man was not injured.

Neither of the individuals were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles were totaled.
