For the 14th year, Drury University in Monett will host its annual Leadership Summit on Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Monett City Park Casino at the city’s South Park.
Hosted by the leadership class at Drury, the event offers three area leaders an opportunity to speak about their life experiences, what their careers have taught them about being effective leaders, and answer questions from the audience.
This year’s speakers include Ethan Forhetz, longtime KY3-TV host and now vice president of public engagement for Convoy of Hope; Kari Walden, assistant general counsel for Monett-based Jack Henry company; and Randy Little, entrepreneur, 50-year cattleman and new owner of Missouri Berries in Republic.
Joel Thomas, teacher of the leadership class at Drury’s Monett campus, will serve as moderator. Members of the class will introduce the speakers. Following each person’s presentation, the floor will be opened for audience questions.
A reception will precede the program at 6:30 p.m. Speakers will begin about 7 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend.
