Kathy Urban, 80, of Cassville, Mo., passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in St. Louis, Mo., to Stephan and Mary (Stafko) Bernard, Kathy was a proud graduate of Cleveland High School. She later made her home in Cassville, where she dedicated over 20 years as a trusted bank teller at Boatman’s National Bank and Bank of America.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Lynn Speakman, and her sister, Patsy Kemper. She is survived by her loving husband, John Urban, her children, Mark (Kelly), Todd (Laurie), and Paige; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends — all of whom will miss her fiercely.

A celebration of Kathy’s life was held Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo., with Pastor Jim Clay officiating. She will be laid to rest at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, Mo.

In honor of Kathy’s memory, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
