Jackie Ray “Jack” White, Sr.

Jackie Ray “Jack” White, Sr., 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Seligman, Mo., on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

He was born on January 28, 1950, in Garfield, Ark., the son of Merrill “Buster” Anderson White and Belva Juanita (Stanphill) White, who preceded him in death. 

Also preceding him in death were ten siblings and a stepdaughter.

Survivors include his son, Jackie Ray White, Jr.; three stepchildren, Mary Rice and her husband Johnny, Robert Kile, and Norman Mullins; sisters, Bonnie Patterson of Ky., and Betty Hency and her husband Doug of Garfield, Ark.; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; step grandchildren; step great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

He was a hardworking man who spent many years working for Tyson and most of his life as an automobile mechanic. He took great pride in his work and especially in his beloved 1955 and 1957 Chevrolets. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with time and date to be announced. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
